St. Lawrence Advances to NYS Division II Final Four

The St. Lawrence Larries found themselves down 3 goals in the first 11:30 of play of the NYS Division II quarterfinals. Did they hang their heads and give up? No way! They reeled off 7 unanswered goals to advance to the Division II Final 4. SLC scored an amazing 5 goals in a 3 minute span to closeout the first period. The score after one period of play was 5-3. SLC added 2 insurance goals in the 2nd period to make it 7-3. Brady Helmer led the Larries with 3 goals and 1 assist. Charles Dullea had 2 goals and 1 assist for St. Lawrence. Dylan Patterson contributed with 1 goal and 1 assist. Brett Mahoney scored 1 goal for St. Lawrence. Blake Baldwin had 2 assists. Jordan Gary stopped 19 shots in goal for St. Lawrence to earn the win. SLC will play in the NYS Division II semifinals next Saturday at Utica.
