Malone Girls Advance To Section 10 Overall Finals Against Harrisville

The Malone Huskies down the Harrisville Pirates in the Section 10 overall semifinals by the score of 65-41. The halftime score was 29-13. Kelsey Johnson, who shared the Jan Reetz award with Chenice Russell of Brushton-Moira, led the Huskies with a game-high 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Brittany Marshall added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Patty Coloney was the only player in double figures for Harrisville. She finished with 23 points. Malone will play Ogdensburg on March 5 at SUNY Potsdam at 6 p.m. for the Overall Championship Title.
