Hammond Girls Advance to Class D Semifinals

The #2 Hammond Red Devils win over the #10 Colton-Pierrepont Colts by the score of 58-27 in the Section 10 Class D quarterfinals. The halftime score was 25-8. Hammond dominated the 1st quarter and the 3rd quarter of the game. Tricia Boland led the Red Devils with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Alyssa Crosby added 9 points and 4 rebounds. Cortney Whalen had 5 points and 11 rebounds for Hammond. Brianna Beaulieu led the Colts with 10 points. Alex Sochia had 8 points for Colton. Hammond will play #3 seed Madrid-Waddington on Wednesday, February 24th at Potsdam high school.
